Centre d'Etudes Fiscales et Financières

Since its creation in 1979 by Professor Christian Louit, the Centre d'études fiscales et financières has become one of the most important research centers in its field, both in terms of the number of lecturers, researchers and doctoral students it brings together, and in terms of the range of disciplines it covers.

In fact, it is the only center in France to bring together specialists in all areas of tax law (business tax law, wealth taxation, criminal tax law, personal taxation, tax procedures, tax litigation, etc.), public finance law (public finance, budget law, public accounting, European public finance, local finance, etc.) and customs law (tax and customs law, international trade law, etc.). ) and customs law (regional customs law, EU customs law, international customs law, customs litigation, compliance, etc.), not forgetting Chinese tax, financial and customs law, since the Institut de Recherche Europe-Asie was attached to CEFF in 1999.

The laboratory is strongly committed to its international outlook, with an annual policy of visiting professors, numerous relationships with foreign universities (notably in Canada, Africa and Oceania), regular exchanges with students and internationally-oriented training courses, notably with the creation in recent years of a Master 1 in Tax Law, which opens onto 4 Master 2 courses: Personal Taxation, Tax Law and Tax Law.

The quality of CEFF's scientific output is unanimously recognized, both by national assessments such as those carried out by the HCERES, and by the fact that its members are often called upon to participate in tax and financial research in France and abroad.
